The Story Behind the Salt

Three generations.
One recipe. One table.

It started in Corpus Christi, Texas — GrannyMommy’s kitchen, a 60-year-old garlic salt recipe, and a family that believed flavor was how you showed people you loved them.

GrannyDaddy took a Borden milk delivery route that brought them to Corpus Christi, where GrannyMommy, originally from Gonzales, Texas, created the blend that started everything.

That belief is still in every jar. It just travels further now.

Generation 1 — GrannyMommy

Doris Sloan created the original garlic salt on a Morton’s Kosher Salt base in Corpus Christi, Texas. Est. 1964.

Generation 2 — Cynthia

Perfected the OG All-Purpose Blend by hand and made it as gifts for everyone she loved.
